Biography

Logan studied mechanical engineering at the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo, CA and started in the commissioning industry immediately upon graduation. He is a Certified Commissioning Provider (CCP) and has been an active commissioning provider since 2004, managing commissioning projects in excess of $1B in construction volume. He also held a USCG 3rd Assistant Engineer’s License for operation of diesel, gas turbine and steam vessels of unlimited horsepower and tonnage.

Prior to starting CriticalArc, Logan worked as a Project Manager for a firm focused on design and commissioning of data centers. This experience expanded to healthcare facilities, K-12, military, water treatment facilities and airports under a second firm. He became well known for his technical expertise and was often called in when things weren’t going according to plan on a project. Logan also did a short stint as a construction manager, managing $40M+ in construction volume for two projects. Having worked on both sides of the construction and commissioning aisle, Logan has a unique perspective of commissioning and how to be most effective at the profession.

Currently, Logan is the Project Operations Manager for CriticalArc, in charge of our Project Management vertical. He is active on all projects in the area and is well versed in HVAC, controls, fire protection, electrical, water treatment, plumbing, process piping and energy recovery systems.

Logan lives in the Sacramento area with his wife and daughter. He enjoys being a loving husband and father, riding his adventure motorcycle on multi-week trips, traveling and camping with his family, woodworking and metal fabrication.
