ABOUT THIS PROJECT
In June of 2024, the notice to proceed was given to build a new consolidated rental car facility (ConRAC) and Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). The project entails a new 440k sf rental car center to and several enabling facilities to house ten (10) rental car providers. The rental car facility will contain six (6) car washes, twenty-four (24) fueling positions, 300 staging spaces, and three (3) maintenance bays. The project is slated to turn over in quarter 3 of 2028 and totals $299M in construction volume.
CriticalArc has been brought in as the third-party commissioning provider, responsible for the design phase, construction phase, acceptance phase, and occupancy phase commissioning services of all MEP, controls, security, fueling, maintenance, and special systems within the rental car center and enabling facilities.
