ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Completed in just 20 months, this cutting-edge 2,900 space, 3-story parking structure involved commissioning of the Parking and Revenue Control System (PARCS) and the Parking Guidance System (PGS) as well as the systems that provide support for these two systems; seven IDF rooms, UPS, emergency power, HVAC, FM-200 and ACS and CCTV systems. Reporting directly to the owner’s project management team, CriticalArc established a baseline and measurable test criteria for the rollout of the new state-of-the-art PARCS and PGS, a new technology, unproven in the new construction environment at the time. The project also features a 100,000-gallon stormwater capture and re-use system that is used to capture runoff from the 7.6-acre facility, preventing it from running into and contaminating the San Diego Bay.
